Who we are

Founded in 2002, Soapbox Films is an independent production company making films, television, and commercials with a distinct point of view. Our roots are in genre: horror, science fiction, thrillers, and dark comedy. We’re drawn to stories that stay with you, whether they unsettle, surprise, or make you see the familiar differently.

Our films include The Old Ways, Southbound, The Mortuary Collection, Body at Brighton Rock, XX, The Wind, Aporia, and 1982. We work with filmmakers and creative partners from the first spark through the final frame, building each project around the people, ideas, and images that make it singular.
