State Farm x Haunted Mansion:
"Property Damage”
Finding new insurance can be haunting—or at least daunting. To celebrate the release of Disney’s Haunted Mansion, State Farm collaborated with Walt Disney Studios and The Marketing Arm to bring their "What If" campaign into the supernatural realm.
Soapbox Films bridged the gap between suburban concerns and ghostly encounters by recreating Disney’s iconic sets for a fully immersive production:
Cinematic Integration: We simulated a supernatural tour featuring Jake from State Farm alongside Rosario Dawson, seamlessly blending brand consistency with Disney’s theatrical world.
The "What If" Strategy: The campaign explored the very real concerns of new homeowners through a comedic, paranormal lens, scaled for broadcast, streaming, and social media.
Award-Winning Execution: The industry took notice, with the campaign being named The Drum’s "Ad of the Day."
By combining meticulous set recreation with sharp comedic timing, we transformed a property insurance pitch into a piece of movie magic. It turns out that even in the afterlife, everyone still wants to speak to a manager about their deductible.
